The hero was a hit for Marvel and has starred in her own series and crossovers and co-starred in the Academy Award-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse film, where Hailee Steinfeld voiced her. The character imagined what if Gwen Stacy was bit by a radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker. Gwen Stacy, who originally was Peter Parker's love interest in classic Spider-Man stories, found a second life as a character after Marvel Comics introduced Spider-Gwen (now known as Ghost-Spider) as part of their Spider-Verse series. On Wednesday, Marvel revealed Tim Seeley and Jodi Nishijima would take on Spider-Gwen: Gwenverse, a five-issue series featuring Spider-Gwen tumbling through time and meeting other heroic versions of herself.
